From the Maker This journey of mine has taken many paths, whether as a cabinetmaker, carpenter or back porch whittler. I am always brought back to a few key fundamentals taught to me by my mentor, Uncle George, 40+ years ago - “If it's not worth doing right it's not worth doing at all” and “If you buy the best you won't be disappointed.” For the most part I agree with these statements. The first one is spot on. The second holds true for most situations I have encountered, but there are always exceptions. Kvalitet was created to honor those sentiments and create wood items of quality, craftmanship, and joy.
